Elon Musk's mother, Maye Musk, recently defended her son on Twitter against criticism from the mainstream media.

Maye, a former model turned dietitian with citizenship in Canada, South Africa, and the United States, expressed frustration with what she perceived as dishonest and negative coverage of Elon.

She highlighted her support for Elon on his own platform, X, which he acquired in 2022, amidst what she described as 20 years of media hostility towards him.

In addition to her defense of Elon, Maye Musk is an accomplished author, having released books on health and self-help, with a new project scheduled for release in September 2026.

Elon Musk has a close relationship with his mother, often seen together at public events, in contrast to his estrangement from his father, Errol Musk, who has faced allegations of sexual abuse from his children.
