Conan O'Brien addressed the deaths of Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, following an argument between Rob and his son Nick at the comedian's holiday party. The couple was found dead in their Los Angeles home in December 2025.

Rob and Michele's son Nick, 32, was arrested later that night and charged with two counts of first-degree murder. Reports emerged that Rob and Nick had a heated argument at O'Brien's Christmas party prior to the tragic incident.

It was revealed that the Reiners attended O'Brien's party with Nick the night before their deaths. Witnesses claimed Nick behaved strangely at the event, approaching guests and asking if they were famous.

Nick also reportedly had an uncomfortable encounter with Bill Hader at the party. Following their deaths, the Reiners' family released a statement confirming the tragic loss and requesting privacy during the difficult time.

After his arrest, Nick appeared in court wearing a suicide prevention vest. His attorney postponed entering a plea, citing it was too early in the legal process.

In the days leading up to their murders, Rob and Michele had public appearances and plans with celebrity friends. The couple's children released a statement expressing their grief and urging sensitivity towards their parents' memory and the ongoing legal proceedings.

Nick is expected to enter a plea at his upcoming arraignment on February 23.
