Conan O’Brien Speaks Out About Rob Reiner's Passing Post Holiday Bash
Conan O'Brien spoke for the first time about the deaths of Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner. The late director had an argument with his son Nick Reiner at O'Brien's holiday party the night before the murders.
In an interview with The New Yorker, O'Brien expressed his sorrow over the tragic events. Rob and Michele were found dead in their home in Los Angeles in December 2025. Nick, 32, was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
Reports surfaced that an argument between Rob and Nick occurred at O'Brien's Christmas party. A source confirmed that Nick behaved oddly at the event and had uncomfortable encounters with other guests.
The Reiners' deaths were confirmed by their family the following day. Nick, who appeared in court wearing a suicide prevention vest, did not enter a plea at the time. His arraignment was later postponed.
Public Appearances Before Tragedy
Before their deaths, Rob and Michele made public appearances with celebrity friends. They were tragically found dead from apparent stab wounds, which shocked many.
After the initial court hearing, the Reiners' other children released a statement expressing their deep pain. They requested privacy and sensitivity regarding their parents' deaths and their brother's case.
Nick is expected to enter a plea during his upcoming arraignment on February 23.
