What Really Happened to Caltech Scientist Shot on Own Front Porch
A man has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a California Institute of Technology scientist at his Los Angeles County home.
The victim, identified as Carl Grillmair, was found shot and lying on his front porch in Llano on February 16.
Authorities attempted to save him but declared him dead at the scene. Grillmair was an employee at Caltech.
