Eric Dane, known for his role in 'Euphoria,' passed away on Thursday, February 19, after battling ALS. His family confirmed the news, stating he spent his final days surrounded by loved ones.

Jensen Ackles, Dane's co-star in 'Countdown,' praised him for his leadership during his battle with ALS. Dane publicly disclosed his health struggles in April 2025 and expressed gratitude for the support.

Dane, survived by his two daughters from his marriage to Rebecca Gayheart, had separated from Gayheart in 2018. Despite the split, they maintained a close relationship for the sake of their children.

Rebecca Gayheart acknowledged the challenges of anticipating Dane's death but emphasized the importance of staying positive and viewing their relationship as a success. Dane and Shirtcliff made a public appearance together at the premiere of 'Countdown' in June 2025.
