The Epstein Zorro Ranch investigation has been reopened by New Mexico authorities following the discovery of new federal documents. These documents contain disturbing details, including claims about the burial of two foreign girls on the estate.

Reopening of the Investigation

Attorney General Raúl Torrez has officially ordered the reopening of the criminal investigation into the 7,500-acre estate. This decision was made after reviewing the unsettling information found in the recently released federal documents.

The state investigators had initially started looking into the property in 2019. However, they were asked to halt their efforts by federal prosecutors in New York to avoid interfering with a separate sex-trafficking case. Now, Torrez's office is seeking full transparency by requesting immediate access to the unredacted federal case file.

Seeking Justice

A bipartisan "truth commission" has also been established to investigate how Epstein operated with impunity at the Zorro Ranch. Survivors have continued to share their harrowing experiences, emphasizing the need for accountability and justice.

Virginia Giuffre, a prominent accuser of Epstein, passed away before the reopening of the investigation. Other survivors have recounted distressing encounters at the ranch, shedding light on the traumatic experiences they endured.

The commission aims to uncover not only Epstein's crimes but also the individuals who enabled his actions. Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham has affirmed the state's commitment to thorough investigations, signaling a proactive approach towards addressing the issues surrounding the Zorro Ranch.
