The creator of The White Lotus, Mike White, shared how he got the idea for the show after being inspired by Jennifer Coolidge, who starred in the first two seasons. During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on February 25, White revealed that his experience on a safari with Coolidge influenced the show's creation.

White expressed his admiration for Coolidge, describing her as a unique and talented individual. He emphasized wanting to offer her a substantial role in the show that showcased her abilities. When asked about actors vying for roles on the series, White mentioned the challenge of selecting the right fit for the story.

White confirmed that the upcoming season 4 of The White Lotus will be filmed in France, although not necessarily in Paris. He mentioned his excitement for the filming process and his intention to create an enjoyable experience for the cast and crew during production.

In previous seasons, The White Lotus was shot at various luxurious locations, including Maui, Hawaii, Sicily, Italy, and Thailand. The show's creator aims to provide an immersive and comfortable environment for filming, enhancing the overall experience for everyone involved.

Season 3 Teased to Be 'Longer, Crazier, Bigger'

The highly anticipated third season of The White Lotus promises to deliver an even more intense and engaging storyline. Mike White hinted at the upcoming season being a larger-than-life continuation of the series that has captivated audiences.

The cast for season 4 will feature Alexander Ludwig and AJ Michalka, with each season introducing a fresh ensemble of actors. Only a few characters, including Tanya McQuoid portrayed by Jennifer Coolidge and Belinda Lindsey played by Natasha Rothwell, have recurred across multiple seasons. Greg Hunt, portrayed by Jon Gries, remains the sole character to appear in all three seasons.
