Shia LaBeouf was involved in a domestic dispute at his New Orleans residence in early February, as per police records obtained by TMZ. The incident, which occurred before his Mardi Gras arrest, involved an unnamed man and his former girlfriend. The man reported being struck in the groin area during the confrontation, but he declined medical treatment.

Following his arrest on two misdemeanor battery charges on February 17, the actor was ordered to enroll in substance abuse treatment and undergo drug testing. He was also required to post a $100,000 bond for his release. Additional allegations, including directing homophobic remarks at two men, led the judge to revisit the terms of LaBeouf's release.

LaBeouf, 39, appeared in court with his defense attorney, Sarah Chervinsky. The judge mandated that he remain out of custody while the case is ongoing. The actor had been arrested after an altercation outside a bar in the French Quarter area, as reported by In Touch.
