Authorities have confirmed that the two girls found dead in suitcases were half-sisters. Their identities remain unknown despite initial DNA analysis.

The bodies of the girls, believed to be between 8 and 14 years old, were discovered in suitcases at an Ohio park on March 2. The medical examiner is working to determine the cause of death.

Discovery of the Bodies

A man walking his dog found the suitcases, one of which was partially buried. He alerted the police after finding a head in one of the bags.

The second suitcase, containing another body, was found after a search of the area. Investigators suspect the girls died from homicidal violence.
