Professional golfer Scottie Scheffler and his wife, Meredith Scudder, joyfully announced the birth of their second son, Remy, during the Masters Tournament. The tournament is set to take place from April 9 to April 12.

Remy was born on March 27, making him 9 days old when he made his debut at Augusta National. The couple already has another son named Bennett, born in May 2024, shortly after Scheffler's second Masters win.

Scheffler, aged 29, withdrew from the Houston Open in March due to Remy's imminent arrival. Despite the break, he kept sharp through practice and is gearing up to compete for another Masters title.

Family Support and Golf Success

Scheffler credits his wife, Meredith, for her support throughout his golf career. They met in high school, got married in 2020, and share a strong bond, with Meredith even caddying for Scheffler in a tournament in April 2022.

Reflecting on fatherhood, Scheffler emphasized the importance of family and being a dad. He values the balance between his golfing career and family life, prioritizing his role as a father and provider for his loved ones.
