Professional golfer Scottie Scheffler and his wife, Meredith Scudder, recently welcomed their second son, Remy, just nine days before the start of the Masters Tournament at Augusta National.

Scheffler, 29, revealed that Remy was born on March 27 and shared that they chose the name because they struggled to find a good boy's name they both liked.

They already have a son named Bennett, born in May 2024, shortly after Scheffler won his second Masters tournament.

Despite taking time off for the birth of his son, Scheffler has been practicing to stay sharp and is set to compete for another Masters title.

Family and Career Balancing Act

Scheffler has emphasized the importance of family, expressing his love for fatherhood and his commitment to balancing his golf career with being a dad.

He credits his wife, Meredith, for her support and involvement in his golf journey, highlighting their strong relationship that began in high school and culminated in marriage in December 2020.

While maintaining a separation between his personal and professional life, Scheffler values his role as a father and provider for his family above all else.
