Country singer Ray Stevens, an 87-year-old Grammy winner, recently broke his neck in a fall on March 29. This incident marks his second health scare in recent years, following a minor heart attack in July 2025 that required surgery.

After a brief hospitalization, Ray is now recovering at home with a neck brace as advised by doctors. Despite the injury, he remains mobile and in good spirits during his recovery process.

Last July, Ray faced chest pain that led to heart surgery, revealing he had experienced a minor heart attack. This health issue resulted in the cancellation of his CabaRay Showroom performances in West Nashville.

Although recovering, Ray’s new album "Favorites Old & New" is set for release on Friday, April 10. The album features a mix of classic standards and new songs, showcasing a range of talented songwriters.

In a statement, Ray expressed his enjoyment in creating the album and hopes fans will appreciate the selection of old favorites and new songs. Despite his current health challenges, the release of his new album remains on track.
