Lil Tjay, whose real name is Tione Jayden Merritt, was arrested on April 6 by Seminole police for disorderly conduct and driving without a valid license.

According to reports, a fight erupted in the valet area where Lil Tjay was involved before Offset was shot. However, there is no mention of any gun-related incidents in Lil Tjay's booking record. Another individual was detained at the casino but has not been charged. Lil Tjay's lawyer, Dawn M. Florio, denied any involvement of her client in Offset's shooting, dismissing it as baseless rumors.

Offset was shot by an unnamed person in the valet area of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Two individuals were detained, and Offset was taken to a nearby hospital. Seminole police are investigating the incident, but they have not disclosed the cause of the shooting or the suspect's identity. Quavo, a member of Migos, posted a message on Instagram Stories following the news.

In response to the rumors, Lil Tjay's lawyer emphasized that Lil Tjay was not involved in the shooting incident and urged people to verify information from trusted sources before sharing or spreading baseless rumors. Offset's condition was reported as stable, and he was receiving medical care after the shooting. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, with police continuing to gather information about what transpired at the casino.
