Rapper Lil Tjay was arrested in Broward County on April 6 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The 24-year-old was charged with disorderly conduct and driving without a valid license.

Speculation arose online linking Tjay to an incident at the same property where Offset from Migos was shot. Tjay's attorney, Dawn M. Florio, promptly clarified that Tjay was not involved in any shooting.

Local law enforcement mentioned Tjay was in a scuffle with unknown individuals before the shooting incident. However, his legal team asserts that any connections to the gunfire are false.

Formal Statement

Florio released a statement on Instagram addressing the rumors, emphasizing that Tjay was not involved in the shooting that injured Offset. She urged people to rely on verified news sources before spreading unfounded claims.

The dispute between Lil Tjay and Offset stemmed from allegations of money owed due to a supposed gambling problem. While Tjay faces legal proceedings for disorderly conduct, Offset is in recovery.
