Haley Beck, a teacher at Centennial High School in Peoria, Arizona, is under investigation for allegedly engaging in an inappropriate relationship with a male student. The investigation revealed concerning behavior, including completing the student's assignments and providing substances to him.

The investigation into Haley began when the student was 18, but allegations suggest grooming started when he was a minor. Haley was placed on administrative leave in 2025, and the school district recommended her termination, which was approved by the board.

In a separate case, a former Kansas high school teacher faces trial for unlawful sexual relations with a student. Nicole Hernandez, 30, is charged with four counts of unlawful sexual relations and appeared in court recently.

The Peoria Unified School District stated that Haley Beck groomed and had a sexual relationship with the student, leading to the recommendation for her termination. Haley has until April 8 to request a hearing to challenge the decision.
