Florida Grandmother's New License Plate Sparks Outrage in Quiet Community
It wasn’t the personalized touch she expected.
An elderly woman in a Florida retirement community was shocked when she obtained a new license plate bearing a lewd message from her local Department of Motor Vehicles, according to a report.
Nancy Dello Stritto is asking for a new license plate after receiving one that reads “SQZ A55” — a statement which she believes is too inappropriate to cruise around with in her Pompano Beach retirement community, WESH 2 reported.

“I looked at it, and I said, ‘I don’t think so,'” Stritto told the outlet.
The license plate has conjured buzz amongst the men in her community, she recalled.
“And this is what I received from the DMV for my new license plate. That’s good for 10 years,” Stritto asked one of her 89-year-old neighbors.

“Good,” the man replied.
An office manager confirmed to the outlet that Broward County would replace a license deemed offensive for free.
