Canadian Woman's Boardwalk Confrontation Turns Chaotic: What Sparked This Shocking Incident?
This Jersey Shore offender is on ICE.
A lefty Canadian illegal immigrant was thrown into an immigration detention center after she allegedly slapped a teen on on the boardwalk because she was wearing pro-Trump and ICE clothing, according to cops and sources.
Now her TikTokker husband — who previously posted disturbing videos wishing for President Trump’s assassination and praying for the president’s family to get cancer — is trying to raise money for her legal defense and slamming the “horrible” conditions inside the Delaney Hall ICE lockup where she’s being held.
Kaitlyn Tracey, 33, allegedly confronted a group of four teenagers — including a 16-year-old girl with “patriotic-colored” MAGA sweatpants featuring the word “ICE” — at the Point Pleasant boardwalk over Fourth of July weekend, according to court documents obtained by NJ.com.
Tracey overstayed her visa and was in the US illegally at the time of her arrest, DHS said Wednesday.
She was busted after getting into an argument with the teen and allegedly slapping her across the face and body on July 3, cops said.
Tracey filmed the interaction and the assault was captured by video surveillance cameras, according to police, who obtained an arrest warrant for her, the outlet reported.
The not-so-nice neighbor from the North, who had been living in Ocean Grove with husband of three-years Matt Geroni, was arrested Monday and charged with endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault, harassment and obstruction, according to court records.
A witness told The Post Wednesday she saw the wild fight unfold near Jenkinson’s indoor food pavilion on the boardwalk.
“I didn’t see the beginning but I saw her go after the 16-year-old girl. It was yelling back and forth,” said the witness, who asked not to be identified.
“It was quick. We were all saying she must be drunk…to go after a 16-year-old.”
Tracey’s self-styled social media star spouse, Geroni, said Wednesday his wife was taken to the Delaney Hall immigration detention center in Newark — where she was forced to endure “horrible,” squalid conditions.
“She said when she was brought there, she was left in a room where she had to sleep on a metal bench with all the lights on,” Geroni, 42, told The Daily Mail, adding she was left in the same room for a full 24 hours.
“She said the conditions in there are horrible. She was obviously very upset,” said Geroni, an American citizen.
Geroni has previously rallied on social media against the same crowded immigration detention center, which was hit with allegations of mistreatment and inhumane conditions for migrants.
He posted a tearful plea on social media Tuesday, urging officials to set her free.
“Yesterday July 13, my wife was detained by ICE and brought to Delaney Hall in North New Jersey,” he said on TikTok.
“Kaitlyn Tracey is a criminal illegal alien from Canada who was charged with simple assault, neglect of a child, compounding crime, and harassing communication,” DHS said.

She entered the US in April 2024 on a visa that was set to expire in September of that year, but never left, according to immigration officials.
“Our message is clear: if you come into our country illegally and break our laws, we will find you, we will arrest you, and we will deport you,” DHS said.
Geroni —who bills himself as the “Jester of the Jersey Shore” and the “Clown of Asbury Park” on social media — also has a history of posting unhinged lefty rants.
Some of his posts have targeted Trump, including a cruel one in which he wished for the deaths of the president and his family, including the “little kids.”
“Praying the entire Trump family gets cancer. And I mean everybody, like little kids and s–t,” video text reads as he drops to his knees and clasps his hands together.
Another video he posted the next day declares, “Praying the next assassination attempt works.”
Before his wife’s arrest, Geroni posted a TikTok video in June centering on protests at the detention center, portraying the protesters as peaceful and the police as violent, mindless thugs.
The video opens with him sitting under the words “peaceful protesters literally standing in their designated first amendment zone,” looking confused and scratching his head.
It then cuts to him standing and aiming a gun-like object with which he mimics a rapid-fire shooting motion standing beside the text “State police and [ICE] at Delaney Hall in Newark, NJ.”
Geroni posted a GoFundMe attempting to raise money for his wife’s legal defense, but it was later removed.
Geroni said he married Tracey “a little over three years ago” and shared his wife’s arrest with his 140,000 followers in an effort to get her released, “even if that means back to Canada.”
On Wednesday, Geroni accused the Point Pleasant Beach Police Department of “lying” about the circumstances around his wife’s arrest.
He insisted the group of teens was causing trouble on the boardwalk, “provoked” Tracey and “pushed and shoved” her, according to the Daily Mail.
He claimed they singled out his wife because she was wearing “punk” clothing that flew in the face of their MAGA attire.
Geroni claimed his wife was trying to get away from the group of teens, and that cops at the scene initially described the confrontation as a “nothing-burger.”
Investigators, he claimed, later reviewed a short surveillance clip of the confrontation and took parts of it “out of context.”
Geroni didn’t return calls from The Post Wednesday and there was no answer at the couple’s apartment in Ocean Grove.
