Justin Trudeau's Bold Move with Katy Perry Sparks Buzz in the South of France
Justin Trudeau and Katy Perry got handsy while enjoying a summer boat ride in the South of France.
The couple was snapped enjoying the sunshine with a group of friends on the water Tuesday, in pics obtained by Page Six. Trudeau intimately applied unscreen to Perry’s chest, putting his hand down her dress as she held it open for him.
The “Firework” singer looked relaxed as she kicked her bare feet up, wearing a light blue spaghetti-strap dress, large statement earrings and sunglasses.
She and the former Canadian Prime Minister clearly enjoyed themselves, later taking happy selfies as they stood up on the boat.
They were also spotted walking along the dock, with Perry, 41, looking at her phone while Trudeau, 54, carried a large tote bag.
The politician wore a long-sleeved olive green shirt, tan pants and brown sandals for the casual outing.
Perry is getting some rest and relaxation after completing her Euro Summer Festival tour, which ended on Saturday with her performance in Switzerland.
A source told Page Six last month that the pop star was planning a yacht getaway with her boyfriend.
“Between touring she would like to cruise to some beautiful places with her boyfriend and possibly their kids,” our source said.
Perry is a mom to 5-year-old daughter, Daisy, whom she shares with her ex-fiancé, Orlando Bloom. Trudeau is a dad of three to sons Xavier, 18, Hadrien, 12, and daughter Ella-Grace, 17, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Sophie Grégoire.
The pair is still going strong after dating for a year, and they haven’t been shy about their relationship. Last month, they were photographed passionately kissing during a romantic picnic in Santa Barbara, California.
A source previously told Page Six that sparks immediately flew between the two on their first date in Montreal back in July 2025.
“Katy ended up back at Justin’s place in Montreal after their first date and they have been inseparable ever since,” a source exclusively told us.
“Katy and Justin were both somewhat newly out of a serious relationship, and Katy didn’t expect to fall for somebody as quickly as she did,” the insider added. “But Justin checks all of the boxes as far as she’s concerned.”
“He has a fantastic sense of humor, he is charming, he is a total gentleman and is exactly what she’s been looking for in a partner.”
