Amy Schumer and Chris Fischer's Surprising Divorce Agreement Revealed
Amy Schumer and Chris Fischer have reached a divorce agreement eight months after filing to end their marriage, Page Six can exclusively confirm.
The estranged couple submitted their proposed divorce judgment to the New York Supreme Court Thursday.
The judgment was signed by the court and is now awaiting final processing by the County Clerk, according to the docket.
The court also processed orders concerning support for the exes’ 7-year-old son, Gene.
Reps and lawyers for Schumer and Fischer did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The “Trainwreck” star, 45, and Fischer, 46, confirmed their separation after seven years of marriage in December 2025.
“Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years. We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son,” Schumer wrote in an Instagram post at the time.
“We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time,” she added.
The actress, who has been going through a weight loss journey, also denied that their breakup had anything to do with her changing figure.
“Blah blah blah not because I dropped some lbs and thought I could bag a basket and not because he’s a hot Janlmes beard award winning chef who can still pull some hot tail. Amicable and all love and respect! Family forever,” she wrote on social media.
The news came after years of split speculation for the duo, including a cryptic moment in 2021 after Fischer gifted Schumer a 40th birthday cake that said, “I’m leaving you. This was the only way I could think to do it.” At the time, it was unclear if the message was a joke.
In January, Schumer officially filed for divorce from the chef, though the reason for their split was not made known.
The comedian and Fischer secretly got married in 2018 and welcomed their son a year later.
