Kim Kardashian's Surprising Parenting Revelation: What She Just Shared

Share Post

Kim Kardashian revealed she has five nannies to help care for the four kids she shares with ex-husband Kanye West.

The billionaire businesswoman always has one of her nannies on rotation when her children, North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 7, are with her, she told the Sunday Times’ Style Magazine in a profile published Saturday.

Despite having extra help, Kardashian makes sure she is the one who takes her kids to and from school. She also sits down every night for family dinner.

“I think I am an intermediate-strict parent,” Kardashian, 45, explained. “I’m extremely patient and loving. I still have a kid sleep in my bed when they want. I read books with the kids every night.”

While the Skims founder didn’t comment on her current relationship with West, 49, she noted they communicate well when it comes to their children’s endeavors, especially North’s as she embarks on her solo music career.

“That is something that her dad and I have better communication about,” she said. “We make sure we’re aligned and that she’s in projects that we both approve.”

The “Kardashians” star and West, who were married from 2014 to 2022, have had a tumultuous co-parenting dynamic over the years.

The “Donda” emcee spoke out about his ex via social media when Kardashian described herself as her kid’s “main provider.”

During a 2024 appearance on the “What’s in the Winkler” podcast, the reality star admitted that she feels “alone” in raising her kids — despite having several nannies.

Kardashian acknowledged that she has “great support systems,” but it gets difficult in the middle of the night when her kids are sleeping in her bed and are “kicking” and “crying.”

Kardashian claimed she doesn’t talk about her struggles often to avoid judgment but insisted she was “basically raising four kids by [herself].”

“People will always jump to the, ‘Oh, but you have the resources to have nannies and to have help,'” she said.

Over the years, the actress has remained booked and busy as she continued to build her billion-dollar empire.

Aside from starring in reality TV shows since 2007, she started studying law in 2018 through the California Law Office Study Program, which required 18 hours of work per week.

In 2019, she launched her Skims shapewear line.

The TV personality is still working to pass the bar exam after a few failed attempts, with an insider telling Page Six in May that she’s taking a break from studying to focus on “filming and production for several projects.”

Kardashian recently added “actor” to her resume after signing on to Ryan Murphy’s “All’s Fair” series as Allura Grant in 2025. She recently wrapped up filming for Season 2.

She’s also juggling a new relationship with F1 driver Lewis Hamilton.

As for West, he married model Bianca Censori in December 2022, just under a month after finalizing his split from Kardashian.
