The search for the world’s most famous Christmas tree is over.

Rockefeller Center has picked a 75-year-old Norway spruce from upstate West Edmeston to anchor the iconic Midtown holiday display, officials said.

The towering 76-foot-tall tree is expected to be cut down late next week and driven some 200 miles to Manhattan several days later ahead of a nationally televised tree lighting ceremony Dec. 2.

The spruce will be adorned with 50,000 multicolored LED lights and topped off with a Swarovski star, according to Rockefeller Center.

It will remain on display until Jan. 9, before being milled into lumber for Habitat for Humanity.
