Shocking Revelations: Crystal Hefner Exposes Disturbing Secrets of Playboy Mansion

Share Post

Hugh Hefner‘s widow, Crystal Hefner, is candidly sharing some of her picks for the best and worst celebrity guests at the Playboy Mansion — as well as discussing trauma over her alleged sexual experiences with the late magnate.

“There were really horrific, horrible men that came through the Mansion,” Crystal, 40, told Page Six in an interview published on Wednesday, October 28. “It was tough.”

Crystal married Hef at the Playboy Mansion on New Year’s Eve 2012 in a ceremony attended by Kiss rocker Gene Simmons and his wife Shannon Tweed, former SNL star Jon Lovitz and others. (Crystal was the Playboy founder’s third wife. Hef was with first wife Mildred Williams from 1949 to 1959 and was married to Playboy model Kimberley Conrad from 1989 to 2010. He shared two children — daughter Christie, 73, and David, 71 — with Mildred as well as two younger sons — Marston, 36, and former Playboy executive Cooper, 35 — with Conrad, 64.)

In the wake of Hugh’s death at age 91 in September 2017, Crystal has become an outspoken critic of her late husband and the Playboy lifestyle. (Crystal eloped with her second husband, James Ward, in the Cook Islands in April 2026.)

Reflecting on her years living at the Playboy Mansion, Crystal told Page Six that Hugh often surrounded himself with “like-minded men,” naming President Donald Trump and disgraced comedian Bill Cosby among them.

(Cosby’s 2018 conviction on three felony counts of aggravated indecent assault against Andrea Constand was vacated by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in 2021 due to an agreement with a previous prosecutor that should have prevented him from being charged in the first place. He has since faced multiple lawsuits about alleged sexual impropriety, including being ordered to pay Judy Huth $500,000 for allegedly sexually assaulting her at the Playboy Mansion in 1975.)

“We know Cosby is a regular [at the Mansion],” Crystal pointed out. “Bill Cosby hosted the Playboy Jazz Festival for many, many years. And I remember one day we show up to the Playboy Jazz Festival and usually we have to take the picture with Bill Cosby and it’s awkward and he was always gross.”

The model sarcastically referred to the Playboy Mansion as “Jack Nicholson’s drive-thru” for the amount of women who’d be lined up for him.

“He could drive up, there’d be women there, there’d food there, and he would just collect what he needed and left,” she claimed. “We all know that that man is also notorious for being a regular, very regular at the mansion.”

Crystal stressed that there were “good guys” who showed up at the Playboy Mansion too, pointing out that “a lot of the women that came by were good, good celebrities.”

“George Lopez was always very, very, very nice,” she said of the former Playboy Jazz Festival host, adding, “He never came to the mansion.”

Crystal also credited Mark Hamill and his wife, Marilou York, with being “lovely” whenever they visited the Playboy Mansion.

Earlier this week, Crystal mentioned Lovitz, 69, as “one of the biggest pervs” and the “Playboy Mansion’s No. 1 customer” during her marriage to Hugh.

“Anytime someone says I’m No. 1, it’s a compliment,” Lovitz sarcastically responded.

There was a 60-year age gap in Crystal and Hugh’s marriage — the Playboy founder was 86 years old and his wife was only 26 when they tied the knot.

Crystal told Page Six that her goal following Hef’s death is to fight against “toxic masculinity and patriarchy just a little bit,” including exposing allegedly abusive behavior that Hugh engaged in during their marriage.

“I remember him pulling [sex toys] out and one of them was a black, double-sided one,” she alleged. “You could see they were dirty and he’s just grabbing us and grabbing our crotches and grabbing these dirty [sex toys] and just shoving them in us.”

Despite the potentially shocking nature of Crystal’s allegations, she insisted that she is “not afraid anymore.”

“There were people that lived with me that were hurt, and I just think it’s not okay, and it’s a bad example to set for humanity moving forward,” she argued.

Crystal recently opposed an upcoming movie called Playmates, in which Jessica Biel is set to play a fictionalized version of Hugh’s wife. In a series of Instagram posts, Crystal encouraged Biel, 44, to quit the project “if this film intends to romanticize [Hugh] or the Playboy world.”

“I was actually his wife, and I experienced sexual, emotional, financial and physical abuse in this relationship,” she alleged.

Biel has yet to publicly respond, though Hugh’s former girlfriend and Girls Next Door costar Bridget Marquardt has been supportive and encouraged the 7th Heaven alum to “totally” move forward with the movie.
